Tuckahoe Hardwood’s large handled boards are made from one piece of East Indian Walnut and measures 18" x 10" x 1". Hand-crafted live edge boards are perfect for serving charcuterie, appetizers, and highlighting entrees. Each board is unique, as the woodcrafters allow the organic nature of the tree to shape each board with a natural live edge. Naturally beautiful, durable, and coated with a food safe blend of organic beeswax and mineral oil. Tuckahoe Hardwoods was started by brothers George and Johnny Dent in 2004 out of an old farmhouse on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After developing their business in Maryland, they started sustainable forestry projects in Indonesia, where they now own and operate their own shop, using only sustainably harvested wood for all of their products. Production is started there, and everything is finished in Maryland.
